The municipality Gulyantsi is located in the northern part of Pleven
region in territory of 458 square kilometers. The agricultural
territory is 381 606 decares, the agricultural land is 333 850 decares
(70,6 %). The north frontier is a Dunabe River from a 604-th kilometer
to a 639-th kilometer. This is the longest frontier in comparison to
the other three municipalities from the region of Pleven, that border
with Danube river. On the south municipality of Gulyantsi
borders municipality of Pleven, on east with municipality Nikopol, on
west with municipality Dolna Mitropolia - all from Pleven area.
